Pet Grooming at Mona Vale Veterinary Hospital

viv & cookie

Various grooming options are available with the nursing team at Mona Vale Veterinary Hospital.

Our clipping is basic and often referred to as a “short back and sides”, so if you are after something a little bit fancier we recommended you chat to a local groomer. If your dog is anxious within a veterinary environment a grooming salon is advised however some dogs stress levels do mean they require a sedation injection for their clip to be done with us. Sedation is performed with owner consent and used on a case by case basis

Most cats will also require some level of sedation in order for their coat to be clipped, however this too is also determined on an individual basis.

Nail clipping and anal gland expressing is available Monday – Saturday.
